Medical Laboratory Science students from the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) visited Hiwa Cancer Hospital in Sulaimani on October 26, 2026, as part of their Medical Immunology course.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe flow cytometry, an advanced diagnostic technology used in immunology, gaining practical insights into its operation and applications in clinical laboratory settings.

Dr. Kani Dlawar, a pathologist at the hospital, provided an informative overview of the technology and its underlying principles. Students actively participated in the discussion, asking scientific questions and applying their theoretical knowledge to better understand its practical applications.
