The 2026 Kurdish Studies Forum will take place in Slemani on November 11–12, bringing together scholars, writers, artists, researchers, and cultural practitioners for two days of dialogue, creativity, and exchange.

Organized by Kashkul, AUIS’s Center for Arts and Culture, the Kurdish Studies Forum is an annual international academic and cultural platform dedicated to exploring Kurdish history, literature, society, and the arts. Through interdisciplinary conversations and creative programming, the Forum connects local and international voices and contributes to the advancement of Kurdish Studies.

This year’s program will feature residencies, workshops, panels, craft conversations, readings, music, and art. The Forum will also begin early with a series of special workshops taking place throughout October and November.
