AUIS hosts 2018 Halloween party
The AUIS Student Services department hosted the annual Halloween party at the Ramada Hotel in Sulaimani on November 2, 2018. Over 350 AUIS students and their guests attended the dinner, dance, and costume competition. There were several competitors in the costume competition, but Zhalyan Sardar won for her zombie costume and Daban Krekar for his captain's costume. Each winner received two tickets to City Cinema.
The Student Services department manned a tabled in the University cafeteria during the week leading up to the event in an effort to sell tickets to the event, which included a buffet dinner and DJ music.
Student Services hosts Halloween costume competition
The Student Services department hosted a Halloween costume competition for members of the AUIS community on October 31, 2018. Students and staff were encouraged to dress up for the holiday and take part in the competition. The prize for the winning the costume was movie tickets to nearby City Cinema.

October 30, 2016 - To celebrate halloween, the Student Services Office organized a watermelon Jack-o-Lantern carving contest, students were also encouraged to dress up in costumes.
