Purpose
The two main purposes of the faculty evaluation process are to provide a fair and accurate assessment of the faculty member’s performance to the Department Chair and Dean of Faculty and to provide helpful feedback to the faculty member to support professional growth and development.
Responsibility
The Dean of Faculty is responsible for ensuring that academic employees have the right competences and experience in research and teaching.
The Department Chairs are responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the lecturers’ competences, and for ensuring that lecturers conduct research relevant to their teaching.
