We know that the complexities of life don’t disappear when students walk into an APP classroom. This is why we provide ongoing personal support for students.
Students can always speak with their instructors for advice and help. Lana Kamaran and Rachel Ramey, both part of APP Administration, are available as well. They are located in B-F2-37 and B-F2-37a.
Students can meet with our university counselor, Frishta Kewe, Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Ms. Frishta supports AUIS students, faculty, and staff in three main ways: leading support groups, providing one-on-one counseling sessions, and providing workshops and seminars. Her email is firstname.lastname@example.org and her office is located at A-F3-46.
Students can also meet with the Student Services Office in A-B1-38 for support with housing, career services, academic integrity, athletics, student activities, and the student employment program. The Student Services Office is committed to providing opportunities that are conducive to the personal and professional growth of students. You can find more information about Student Services here.
AUIS also offers an on-site nurse and clinic to address health emergencies. For minor health incidences, students can visit the APP office in B-F2-37, where we keep a small first aid kit.
