About
Mohammed Saleh joined his role as a research assistant at IRIS in the fall of 2025. He held the position of a journalist at Rudaw English, reporting on social, economic, and political matters inside the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and political developments in federal Iraq. He shifted his professional path and joined an INGO, where he developed experience in program development and reporting, having worked on juvenile justice, women's rights, human trafficking, and livelihood programs. At IRIS, he focuses on different projects with a particular focus on the economy of KRI. Mohammed has a bachelor degree in International Studies and graduated in 2018 from the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani.
