About
Dr. Mahmood Al-Najjar is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Regional and International Studies (IRIS), and a lecturer at Al-Noor University. He holds a PhD in Strategic Management and Social Sciences from Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia. Since 2020, Dr. Al-Najjar has served as a consultant researcher for prominent organizations, including Chatham House, IRI, EIP, and AUB, focusing on Iraq’s political economy, governance, and security. He is also the Founder and Head of the Baghdad Vision Center for Media Development and Studies.
