Designing Confederalism in Iraq: Can political engineering provide a blueprint for a viable state? Guest lecture by Dr. Sherko Kirmanj.

Dr. Sherko Kirmanj, author of "Identity and Nation in Iraq", will talk on the issue of confederalism and how it can be applied in the Iraqi context, on February 10 at 3:30 p.m.

In this lecture Dr. Kirmanj will explore a blueprint for ‘political engineering’ in Iraq that may provide some institutional anchors for consolidating its incipient democracy.
