Orange the World
25 Nov - 10 Dec 2015
The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence is an international campaign which takes place each year and runs from 25 November (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to 10 December (Human Rights Day). Widely known as the ‘16 Days Campaign’, it is used as an organizing strategy by individuals and organizations around the world to call for the prevention and elimination of violence against women and girls.
AUIS students will use these 16 days to raise their voices against, and create awareness of, violence against women through various initiatives, events and activities on campus. There will be students rallies, documentary screenings, guest lectures, student videos and an event arranged by The Action Group (TAG) during the 16 days.
The AUIS community arranged different events and activities around the campus throughout the 16 days of the global campaign.
