Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning

The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) was developed during the academic year 2015/2016 with the goal of developing the AUIS human capital in a responsive manner and for the benefit of its students.

Mission

The CTEL offers continuous training for faculty and staff. It aims to nurture and develop key skills and attitudes necessary for effective performance in quality teaching and learning at AUIS. CTEL is dedicated to promoting excellence in teaching through the development of faculty and staff, and assisting in the realization of staff and faculty’s potential. Faculty and staff annual evaluations highlight areas for development and provide the center with the topics to be addressed through its curriculum.
