U.S. Consulate General Erbil, Mr. Irvin Hicks Jr. visited American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) on November 7th, 2022 along with an accompanying delegation. The consulate was received by AUIS President Dr. Bruce Walker Ferguson and Dr. Choman Hardy, the head of CGDS.
Dr. Ferguson provided an overview of the liberal style of education delivered at AUIS, as well as the importance of its contribution to society and the university's goal to create a generation of graduates who have leadership skills. They also discussed opportunities in cooperation with universities and international institutions.
