As part of its continuous efforts to support professional capacity development in the region, the Professional Development Institute (PDI) at American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS) delivered a tailored one-week Project Management Professional (PMP) training course for employees of REACH Organization in Sulaimani. The course took place at AUIS from March 13 – 17, 2022.
Taught by PDI Instructor Ahmed Al-Allo, the program provided both academic and practical knowledge on project management skills. The course’s stated learning objectives included explaining the elements of PMP and their impact on organizational effectiveness and success; in addition to outlining the key tools and practices relating to Project Management in organizations/businesses and essential project management knowledge areas. Participants gained experience in using project management techniques for real-life projects, and said they found the program to be highly useful.
