Halbast Abdulah joined AUIS in 2021 and she is the library manager and Academic Coordinator of the VPAA Office. Halbast earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Information Technology from AUIS in 2018. She furthered her academic journey at AUIS, completing her Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing in 2021.
 
In her capacity as the Library Manager, she plans, develops, coordinates, and implements library services and policies. Her responsibilities encompass various facets such as collection development, management of electronic subscriptions, cataloging, book processing, and facilitating access to electronic resources. She develops the library's strategic plan and aligns its goals and objectives with the overarching mission of the library and university. Recently, she spearheaded the Artful Mind Community project for empowering orphans by providing them with unique opportunities to pursue their dreams through education, awareness, and art. She is also an AMICAL Representative. 
 
Her primary responsibility as Academic Coordinator to the VPPA Office is to coordinate faculty evaluations and manage the TQA system.
 
During her tenure as an undergraduate student at AUIS, Halbast actively engaged in volunteering for numerous international organizations. Her commitment extended to managing activities at AUIS, including the coordination of initiatives such as Alternative Spring Break, at Khanke Camp and Rawanduz Camp. She also contributed significantly as a member of the Action Group and as a writer for For You Magazine. Additionally, she showcased her dedication by volunteering within the AUIS Communication Department for two years.
