9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
The AUIS Engineering Club is hosting a spaghetti bridge competition on April 23rd. There are 20 groups competing on the day, with 66 students in total. Their objective is to build a bridge made solely out of spaghetti. They will be judged on aesthetics and efficiency (how much weight their bridge can handle compared to the actual weight of their bridge). The aesthetics will be determined by judges (engineering faculty and alumni of AUIS). The efficiency will be determined the day of the competition on stage where the groups will load their bridges with weights until it breaks. There will be side activities such as a computer program set up for students to test their bridge building skills and a souvenir photo activity.
Good luck to all the teams!
The event is open to all AUIS community, and by invitation only for outside guests.
